Robert Gerrard joins The Reasoning

Followers of Prog magazine online may have noticed that a mysterious multi-instrumentalist called Robert Gerrard is to replace Tony Turrell on keyboards with leading prog-rock band The Reasoning. Yes, it is true. It is me, not some other Robert Gerrard. Life is becoming busy.

With four successful albums plus a live CD (recorded in the USA) already released, The Reasoning is currently writing album number five, and it’s going to be exciting to be part of the band while this new music takes shape. I’d like to thank the band for inviting me into the fold, and express my thanks for the warm welcome I’ve received from the band, from outgoing keyboardist Tony, and from the band’s fanbase who have been very positive about the change.

I’m sure there will be more to share soon, but for now it’s just a matter of saying “this is what’s happening” and then getting on with it. It’s very exciting!
