Robert L Gerrard is a Guitarist and Keyboardist, recently working on keyboards with The Australian Pink Floyd Show. He is also a past member of progressive rock band The Reasoning, Ghost Community, and Omega Point.
Other former bands include leading Us Not Them (Pink Floyd tribute) on Guitar and Vocals, and keyboards with Money For Nothing (Dire Straits tribute), The KT Bush Band (revival of Kate Bush’s first band), and many years touring with Think Floyd, The UK Pink Floyd Experience, and DS:UK (tribute to Dire Straits). He was a founding member on Keyboards and Guitar with Reckless Heart – Europe’s only tribute to the great music of Heart. Robert also performed on both Guitar and Keyboards with Queen Tribute The Bohemians on their Queen Rocks Gospel tour with the ACM Gospel Choir.
Robert divides his time between his production business, PromoMix specialising in promotional mixes for bands, tributes, and songwriters, along with live performance, session work, writing, rehearsing, programming, and teaching Guitar or Keyboard/Piano/Synth techniques.
Robert’s influences are rock and progressive artists/bands such as Genesis, Toto, Deep Purple, ELO, Barclay James Harvest, Kate Bush, Druid, Dire Straits, Clannad, The Eagles, Yes, Solution, The Who, Camel, Pink Floyd, Vangelis, and Peter Gabriel.
