Downsizing

Having moved from an analogue recording desk to a full digital system, the benefits of downsizing gear are all too apparent.

The next step is to give the live keyboard rig the same treatment. This is a worry, in the middle of a tour, but hopefully the change can be gradual and comfortable.

Candidate for achieving part of this process is Arturia’s Analogue Laboratory. Step two is more computing power and software – currently checking out Ableton Live and Logic Mainstage. That should condense things nicely.
